I started my brand new job today…
I had my working interview last week Thursday and recieved a call around 8pm that night. I had been offered the job at the local location.
You are reading the blog of a doggy-daycare employee. I watch over the puppies and small dogs. I also oversee any older dogs or big dogs that are generally mellow and gentle.
Today was my first time working in over a month. I had an early morning doctor appointment followed by my first three hours of doggy-daycaring. It was fun but one thing occurred to me. I will definately need to build up my stamina and endurance for this job… or this job will build it up for me. Nothing like a terrier and a corgi to show me how little energy I really have.
I’m looking forward to my first full day of work tomorrow. I’ll be packing a nice lunch and bringing a book to read during my half an hour of unpaid lunch. I never saw the point of leaving work for lunch… its my thing to sit and read. Everyone is so nice there – I hope everything continues to go well. I love the turn-around in my luck. Karma IS a beautiful thing.

Awesome! Are you allowed to take lots of pictures during work?

Sorry to hear about your job loss but great on the new one.
I get to lose mine at the end of the year.
Great writing by the way. And I just discovered Circa/Rollabind/hPDA stuff so your info is priceless.
